What to do when its cold outside...

Hey ladies I don't know about y'all but I seem to be in a funk..
Its cold outside the holidays are over and what to do to pass the long dreary days at home that is after work of course so I was thinking maybe I would start some spring cleaning to spruce up the house and my spirits too.. It is so uplifting to your soul the sweet smell of "CLEAN AND FRESH".. It also looks great too..
Do any of you ladies have a special thing you do when you spring clean your home or special products you like to use??? Well I do like to take down all the curtains and wash them they look fab after a "bath" in a spring smelling  laundry soap and when you iron them they look almost new...
Also I do try to re-purpose things too it may be bringing "something old" that I packed up for awhile back out or just moving something I love to a new place to fall in love with it all over again..
I soon will be starting new creations for my selling blog so that should keep me busy for a while..
So looking forward to spring.. How about you?

my very first craft show.....

Well my first craft show is over....
Whew... what alot of work it was... Sleepless nights crafting to alll the wee hours of the night and getting up before the crack of dawn and going to work but I did have a great time doing it.. However the economy has really hurt everyone so alot of people just weren't buying much... So since I have some products still I figured I would offer them for sale on my sellin blog

CHRISTMAS PICTURES FOR 2010...

WELL I KNOW ITS BEEN A WHILE SINCE I'VE POSTED BUT THIS GIRL HAS BEEN QUITE BUSY... I'VE BEEN EAGERLY PREPARING FOR A CRAFT SHOW IN EARLY DEC AT A LOCAL SCHOOL IN TOWN.. WHICH I'M SO EXCITED ITS MY OFFICIAL FIRST ONE..MY DEAR SIL AND MOTHER IN LAW & FATHER IN LAW ARE ALSO ATTENDING SO ITS QUITE A FAMILY EVENT(WHOOPPIE...)MY MOM CAME TO ME WITH CONCERNS OF GETTING MY NIECES X-MAS PICTURES TAKEN

(ZOE "POE" BEING HER LIL MISS ATTITUDE)^

SO I CAME UP WITH THE IDEA TO TAKE THEM MYSELF AND MAKE OUR OWN X-MAS CARDS SO I NOT HAVING A CLUE ON WHAT I WAS DOING WAS DETERMINED TO DO THE TASK AT HAND SO WE PLANNED TO GO TO A QUAINT LIL TOWN IN SOUTH JERSEY CALLED SMITHVILLE TO TAKE PICTURES.. THE REASON WHY? WELL ITS JUST SUCH A PLEASANT PLACE AND DECORATED SO CUTE SO WITH THE FEELING OF X-MAS IN THE AIR SINCE IT WAS A BIT CHILLY THIS PARTICULAR AFTERNOON I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE AN IDEAL PLACE.. SO WITH CAMERA IN HAND OFF WE WENT SO I SNAPPED A FEW PICTURES AND THEN UPLOADED AND TOOK THEM TO OUR LOCAL WAL*MART WENT UP TO THE PICTURE THING(NOT SURE WHAT YOU CALL IT) TO PRINT THE PICTURES OUT.. AND WAS SHOCKED TO FIND OUT THAT YOU CAN MAKE THE CUTEST LIL X-MAS CARD FOR AS LITTLE AS .28CENTS I WAS THINKIN WHAT???? I SHOULD HAVE DONE THIS A WHILE AGO SO THAT LIL PICTURE PLACE IS NOW A FRIEND OF MINE I'M SO LOVIN IT.. BESIDES FOR 63 PICTURES IT COST UNDER $25.00 AND ONLY WAITED 10MINUTES..

THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITES ZOE "POE" IS QUITE THE FUNNY GIRL SHE IS SO FULL OF LAUGHTER.. SHE WAS QUITE THE LIL GIGGLE BOX DURING THIS PICTURE WHICH WAS TAKIN IN ONE OF THE QUAINT LIL SHOPS IN SMITHVILLE..

HERE IS ANOTHER ONE SNAPPED OUTSIDE THE WINDOW OF THE QUAINT LIL X-MAS SHOP IN THE TOWN OF SMITHVILLE..

Well I'm trying a new adventure..
You know as a kid how we truly loved adventures?
Well as a kid "we" always had such GREAT adventures plan usually that did'nt go beyond the backyard however in our imagination
it was totally out there a whole "new" world...


A tree was a giant building in the city..
A tent was a beautiful house with tons of treasures inside..
A sandbox was a deserted island with a pirate treasure awaiting to be discovered..

So what is my adventure?
I'm going to start a home base paper garland business and other fun decorative items made from paper..

I love crafting so I figured why not make a few extra $'s doing something I love..

What a dreary rainy day it has been here at the Jersey Shore today..
But my hubby called on his way home from work and exclaimed

HURRY GO OUTSIDE AND LOOK AT THE SKY...
Thinkin to myself oh my why its just cloudy outside and its been raining all day..
I open the door and looked up to see one of Gods creations..

What was it your asking?
IT was a perfect RAINBOW of course.. Gleaming through the dull sky..



Of course seeing this gets me thinkin I haven't watch one of my favorite movies since I was a little girl yes indeed its WIZARD OF OZ.. I gotta watch it I'm gonna put this movie on tonite with a big bowl of the yummiest full to the brim with butter filled popcorn and sit back and enjoy..

Cleaning what a horrible word....

Just kidding I do adore a tidy house however I would love it even more if someone else was doing it... So I guess its time to bring out that broom,vacuum cleaner,the mop, furniture polish,the glass cleaner, bath cleaner and all purpose cleaner and don't forget febreeze to freshen up the stuff you can't wash like the chair and the sofa.. Then on to steam cleaning the carpets I so can't wait to get hardwood floors.. I'm dreamin about them right now like I have for the past 8years I guess one of these days I will (I hope)...
So I guess I will go and do my chores...

How lucky we are to live in America where so many have given their lives for our freedom..

The brave men and women who have served and who are serving in our military thank you to you and your families.. What is the main important meaning of our country.. I believe it is love,honor,equality and freedom for all... As a child not realizing how important the 4Th really is for us I thought it was just so much fun going to the parade and watching those beautiful fireworks.. Yes I knew it was a celebration but not really what a celebration it was!!!!

Hubby and I will be celebrating with my dear SIL and her hubby and the kids also my in laws too.. Wish my parents and Zoe would be there but they will be on the road on vacation to visit my uncle Ken in TEXAS.. but
we will be with love ones enjoying the relaxation
and the pool and the parade will be nice too and
the biggest grandest fan ally of the night is the FIREWORKS....

My DADDY of course.. He has always been there for me since I was small holding my hand and guiding me through all life's up's and downs.. I hope he knows how special he is and how irreplaceable he really is.. So happy Father's Day.. Just wanted to share a few pictures with y'all..

SUMMERTIME IS HERE...

IT IS HERE.. THE SUN IS SHINING BRIGHT IN THE BIG OL SKY..
We wished that all those gloomy winter days of frigid weather and snow would pass and we got our wish.. It is quite hot here in South Jersey..
Hubby and I are trying to get our pool clear so we can do some well needed swimming.. Hope everyone is having a good summer so far.. This does get me thinkin now that the warm weather has arrived its time for "cool" recipes. Salads, BBQ, Fresh Jersey Corn, Homemade ice cream OH MY this is makin me hungry.. Please share your fav summertime recipe..
